Lower Electric Bills | Better Power Factor

Check your electric bills!

Have someone on your payables team take a look at last month's Electric Utility Bill.

Commercial and Industrial (C&I) electric power customers have a preset power factor in the monthly bill (referred to as base power factor). IF your facility's electric usage performance is below this number (referred to as actual power factor) your bill includes this percentage to determine the power factor penalty. This is used to determine penalty kW which is then multiplied against the rate (currently above 9 dollars but ranges with different providers).

This power factor penalty charge can range from low hundreds to many hundreds of dollars per month.

This amount of money per month can be saved by installing STACO Energy automatic switching equipment which will bring your power factor to better than the utility preset percentage.

Read the information available to you in the following pages. Do some quick math (this month's penalty x twelve month's) to determine the amount of money your firm is NOT ABLE TO USE FOR OTHER IMPORTANT PROJECTS. Do you, the site manager, the maintenance engineer, the company treasurer, or the accountant, feel the cost is an absorbable pain for your firm?

Pull together twelve month's of electric utility bills (ask your electric utility account manager for a copy of the previous twelve months which will be provided at no charge), copy and send them as attachments for my analysis (no charge!) which includes information about your bill and equipment that allows you to save money. The analysis will provide you with an equipment proposal inclusive of an ROI of less than three years. The product has a warranty of five years and runs for 18+ years! This is not a recurring expense to your firm.

The equipment is USA made, UL listed and the manufacturer is able to fill orders and drop shipments of tens of units in a time frame of a couple of months for your company.

Take the next step; save money. Purchase this equipment and take your company to electric utility kW billing that does not contain the power factor penalty.
